Where are we...
We are situated in Appleby-in-Westmorland, but we also cover other areas such as Penrith, Kirkby Stephen, Brough and surrounding towns or villages in the Eden Valley. We are unit based, but we do also offer a mobile valeting service covering most of the Lake District.
My Story
Built on passion. Driven by attention to detail.
CBS Autocare began in late 2022 as a hobby at home, driven by my passion for cars, an interest in business and simply enjoying the process of washing and caring for my own vehicle. What started as something I enjoyed doing in my spare time gradually developed into something much bigger.
As my skills, experience and customer base grew, so did the business. In late 2023, I invested in a van to take the next step in the journey, followed by securing a dedicated unit in early 2025. Each milestone brought new opportunities and helped turn a small hobby into the professional vehicle care business that CBS Autocare is today.
For a long time, I balanced building CBS Autocare around a full-time office job, working evenings and fitting in additional jobs wherever I could. It took commitment, hard work and a genuine passion for what I was building, but every step brought me closer to my goal of running the business full-time. In late 2026, that ambition became reality.
Today, I provide professional vehicle valeting and detailing services in Appleby-in-Westmorland and the surrounding areas of Cumbria. From routine maintenance valets to machine polishing, paint correction and ceramic coatings, I approach every vehicle with the same focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been the trust customers have placed in me and the feedback they have shared. The five-star reviews and continued support from customers mean a great deal to me. Building a reputation through consistent results, reliable communication and a service people are happy to recommend is something I take great pride in.
For me, CBS Autocare has always been about more than simply cleaning cars. It's about doing the job properly, taking pride in my work, being honest with customers and building lasting relationships based on trust.
My aim is simple: to deliver a level of care and attention that makes every customer confident they've chosen the right person to look after their vehicle.
